What we do
One More Story is a service that calls a parent on the phone, records the conversation, and delivers a Story Collection — a shareable audio page of the parent’s best memories — to the buyer.
What you’re paying for
You are paying for the call (or calls) and the Story Collection that results. The Mother’s Day promo of $39 includes 60 minutes of total call time, which can be used in one or more sessions. Additional minutes can be purchased separately.
Recording authority
By booking a call, you confirm that you have authority from the parent — or will inform them in advance — that the conversation will be recorded for the purpose of producing the Story Collection.
The interviewer (a One More Story representative or our AI voice agent “Hope”) is a party to the call and consents to the recording.
You agree not to use One More Story to record any individual who has not been given notice of the recording, or in any jurisdiction whose laws require additional consent that has not been obtained.
Refunds
If you’re unhappy with your Story Collection for any reason, email hello@onemorestory.online and we’ll work it out — including a full refund if that’s the right answer.
If we are unable to reach the parent or the call cannot be completed for technical reasons on our end, you will not be charged for the missed minutes. If a buyer cancels before the call has happened, the full purchase is refundable.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use One More Story to:
- Record any individual without their knowledge or consent
- Harass, deceive, or manipulate any person
- Collect data about a minor
- Generate content that is unlawful, threatening, or harmful
- Resell or sublicense the service or its outputs
Ownership
You own the audio recording of your parent’s call and the resulting Story Collection. We grant you a permanent shareable link and you can request deletion at any time.
We retain the right to use anonymized, aggregated metadata (e.g., “average call lasted 22 minutes”) to improve the service. We will never use your parent’s voice or identifiable content for marketing, AI training, or any purpose beyond delivering your Story Collection.
Service availability
We aim for 100% uptime but do not guarantee it. If a system outage on our side prevents your call from happening as scheduled, we will reschedule at no extra charge.
Limitation of liability
One More Story is provided “as is.” We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your purchase.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the service after a change indicates acceptance.
